The Journal Record's Health Care Heroes awards program was created in an effort to recognize excellence, promote innovation and honor the efforts of individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the quality of Health Care in Oklahoma.

Winners and runners-up of the Ontex Care Heroes Award were presented at Care Management Show Birmingham 2025, with Gabriela Vasile being named the overall winner.
